Hey everybody the final four is tomorrow. Louisville against Wichita State and Michigan against Syracuse. The first game Louisville vs. Wichita State is a very interesting matchup. Louisville is going to have a tough time watching their fouls. Peyton Siva and Russ Smith can not get in foul trouble early because with Kevin Wares being gone their isn't another point guard. Luke Hancock will have to handle the ball a lot which will not be normal for him because he usually plays the small forward spot. Wichita State is going to make Louisville work for every shot they take. Their defense is Marquette times two. I think Louisville's press will force a lot of turnovers which means lots of fastbreaks. Wichita State's Michael Armstead and Clark Hall will and are going to have to control the game. I think Louisville will win mainly because they aren't just playing to win the Championship they are playing for Kevin Ware right now also. Michigan vs. Syracuse is pretty much a perfect matchup. Trey Burke, Michael Carter Williams, Brandon Triche, Tim Hardaway. two of the best back courts in the nation. Trey Burke is just coming off of earning the Wooden award and the AP player of the year. I really like Michael carter Williams so I think that matchup is just going to be exactly even. Brandon Triche on Tim Hardaway is still really even but I think Brandon Triche will win that matchup because of his experience. I think Syracuse will win because James Southerland and C.J. Fair are much better than Nick Stouskas and Glenn Robinson III. The Center spot is about even because Rakeem Christmas is great at defense so he should be able to stop Mitch Mcgary. I think Syracuse will win by a 5 point margin.
I will talk about the national championship game next time.
