The College Football Season comes to an end in a Slug fest

Notre Dame against Alabama, that's all I have to say. It is going to be a game of old fashion football, go on the ground and pound. its going to be a great game so lets play ball.

Both teams are going to get hit in the mouth pretty hard today. I am picking the Fighting Irish in this game. I think their defense might be a little better but Alabama's offense is probably a little better so it will be really, really close but I am picking Notre Dame. I think Everret Golston will be the difference in this game, if he plays well Notre Dame wins but if he cant execute anything Alabama wins. The key for Notre Dame is to stop the run and make A.J. McArron throw the ball. The key for Alabama is special teams if they can get great field position or touchdowns on special teams they win.

The first weekend of NFL Playoffs were this weekend. The Ravens smoked the Colts in Ray Lewis' last home game. Ray Lewis played great also. The Colts defense didn't show up, mainly their defense backs. The Texans beat the Bengals in a field Goal match 19-13. Arian Foster had a great day and the Bengals offense just wasn't there. The Packers smoked the Vikings at Lambeau. Adrian Peterson broke 2,000 but they didn't get the win. Then again Christian Ponder didn't play and they had to put in Joe Webb. Joe Webb is no threat to pass the ball all he is is a running quarterback. The Seahawks beat the Redskins after a scary injury to RG3. He injured his knee in the first quarter and stayed in the game but mid fourth he hurt it again and this time it was too much he had to come out. Marshawn Lynch tore it up late in the game when their defense was getting tired. Right now all Redskin fans are holding their breath until they find out how serious Robert Griffin III's injury is.

The NHL came to a deal and their season should start January 19 and training camps start now. What a crazy lockout, around 112 days of no playing for NHL players, that would be very hard for them.

I will be back Thursday. Please comment if you would have kept RG3 in or if you would have pulled him  out when he first got hurt.
