Hey everybody the final four is tomorrow. Louisville against Wichita State and Michigan against Syracuse. The first game Louisville vs. Wichita State is a very interesting matchup. Louisville is going to have a tough time watching their fouls. Peyton Siva and Russ Smith can not get in foul trouble early because with Kevin Wares being gone their isn't another point guard. Luke Hancock will have to handle the ball a lot which will not be normal for him because he usually plays the small forward spot. Wichita State is going to make Louisville work for every shot they take. Their defense is Marquette times two. I think Louisville's press will force a lot of turnovers which means lots of fastbreaks. Wichita State's Michael Armstead and Clark Hall will and are going to have to control the game. I think Louisville will win mainly because they aren't just playing to win the Championship they are playing for Kevin Ware right now also. Michigan vs. Syracuse is pretty much a perfect matchup. Trey Burke, Michael Carter Williams, Brandon Triche, Tim Hardaway. two of the best back courts in the nation. Trey Burke is just coming off of earning the Wooden award and the AP player of the year. I really like Michael carter Williams so I think that matchup is just going to be exactly even. Brandon Triche on Tim Hardaway is still really even but I think Brandon Triche will win that matchup because of his experience. I think Syracuse will win because James Southerland and C.J. Fair are much better than Nick Stouskas and Glenn Robinson III. The Center spot is about even because Rakeem Christmas is great at defense so he should be able to stop Mitch Mcgary. I think Syracuse will win by a 5 point margin.
I will talk about the national championship game next time.

How To Pick A Winning Bracket
Hi there the teams were chosen for the bracket and I am going to teach you how to pick a good one.
If you are looking for an upset bracket this is the best year for that but if your looking for a final four of four number one seeds I am sorry this is not the year for that. I don't think any one seeds will make the final four. The first number one seed to go down will probably be Gonzaga. Gonzaga did not play as high caliber as some of the four seeds played. They lost to Butler and Illinois and those were the best teams they played. I have Gonzaga losing in the third round to Kansas State. If Gonzaga loses it really weakens up the West Region. A perfect match-up is North Carolina vs Villanova. Both teams are very similar live and die off the three. I think UNC will win that and end up playing Kansas in the round of 32. I would pick North Carolina as an upset in that game because Kansas is great at protecting the rim but North Carolina just shoots the threes so those are completely different gameplans and I think UNC will take advantage of that. In past years great upset picks are 12 seeds against 5 seeds this year I don't like many 12 seeds. Other than Oregon and Ole Miss and which I am not picking them have ok chances. I would look at Minnesota UCLA. UCLA doesn't have their star guard and Shabazz Muhammed is still a freshman so I think he is going to crack under pressure.
Those are all of the tips I am going to tell you today. You are on your own now so good luck.

College Basketball Showcase
Hey everybody college basketball is getting to an end. The conference championships are coming up. Some teams already have their ticket punched for the tournament, like Creighton, Liberty, Florida Gulf Coast and Harvard. I will talk about who I think should win the Wooden Award.
The Conference championships are coming and I will pick my predictions for the winners. I think Duke will win the ACC just because Ryan Kelly is back. He stretches the defense so much it gives room for Mason Plumlee to work. I think Louiville will win the Big East. Peyton Siva and Russ Smith will just take over and then add Behanan, Dieng, Blackshear, Ware and Hancock to the mix wow that is a great roster. I think Michigan State will win the Big 10. Their big game down low is a little bit better than Indiana's which is why I think Michigan State will win. Keith Appling will run that offense to victory. I think Oklahoma State will win the Big 12. Marcus Smart is just fantastic but Markel Brown the Shooting Guard will lead the team in points and he will be great down the stretch. This is my upset prediction I think Missouri will win the SEC. Phil Pressey is going to average 20 points and 15 assists every game of that tournament. I think Oregon will win the Pac-12 tournament. E.J. Singler is very good but their 3 point shooting will lead the team to victory.
Out of the 15 candidates for the Wooden Award I think the top 3 contenders are Victor Oladipo, Otto Porter and Erick Green. Oladipo has led that defense the whole year. He will guard anyone on the perimeter anytime. Georgetown runs their offense through Otto Porter. He has a great outside game and a great inside game. Erick Green is averaging the most points in the country and he is still averaging 5 assists. He could average more if his teammates could make shots. He can make any shot anywhere.
That is it for me today I will be back soon.

All Star Mania
Hey everybody the All Star game is tonight. The stars will put on a show like always and it will be very fun to watch. I am looking forward to seeing Lebron and Kevin Durant going at it guarding each other. The game will be very high scoring with lots of dunks. I think Chris Paul will have some awesome passes to Durant, Griffin and Kobe. I think Chris paul will get MVP with 19 points 15 assists 7 steals and 4 rebounds. which means I think the West will win with a score of 187-181.
Happy birthday to Michael Jordan! He is 50 now but still the greatest player of all time to play the game of basketball. I think he should get out there and show the young stars how the game used to be played which is getting buckets.
Terrence Ross won the dunk contest in great fashion. He had some great dunks but I think Keneth Faried had the best dunk in being the in between the legs off the backboard dunk. Kyrie Irving won the three point contest with a score of 22 points. Damian Lilliard won the skills competition. He seemed like he was the only one who sprinted because he is a rookie.
Thats it for me today. Go West All Stars!

Super Almost Comeback
Hi everybody the 49ers lost the Super Bowl, but it was a great comeback. The blackout looked like it was planned by the niners because they came out firing after the blackout. The Ravens showed the niners how to play in the first half but after the opening kickoff return by Jacoby Jones they didn't look great. The game was a tale of two halfs. Raven great in one and the niners were great in the other. Joe Flacci was great but I thought Jacoby Jones should have been MVP. A kickoff return and a great catch for a touchdowns I mean how is that not MVP worthy. The niners defense just didn't show up either. Anthony Culliver was getting eaten up on the weak side. Anquan Boldin was just out muscling whoever guarded him. The back shoulder fade was working all day. Even though Ray rice didn't have a good day the Ravens were still able to work their offense. I did not like the play calls on the goal line there at the end. If you have the best run offense in the NFL I would run it up the middle not throw fade routes out of bounds. I am also surprised that Colin kaepernick didn't get to run nearly as much as usual. If he runs it keeps the defense honest and the ravens were just able to predict pass when he dropped back. The Ravens did play better than the niners but it was a great comeback. I am glad the game turned out to be the close game like it was supposed to.
Thank everyone I will be back Monday.

Super Bowl, (Haurbaughl).
Hey everybody sorry its been a while since my last post. This post is a special edition Super Bowl one. We will talk about the Super Bowl. So lets go!
The Super Bowl is tomorrow and we will have a battle of the bro's. The Niners will have trouble against the physical wide receivers of the Ravens. The Ravens will have trouble dealing with the speed of Collin Kaepernick. The Ravens don't have anybody on the outside to keep up with Kaepernick. The Ravens are most likely going to have to play a QB spy defense. The Ravens are going to have to take advantage of the man to man defense the Niners play. They put their cornerbacks on a little island and they are by themselves so they will have to run crossing patterns to pick one of the cornerbacks so Torrey Smith is free. A big question is will the Ravens be able to stop the Smith brothers (Aldon and Justin)? if they put pressure on Joe Flacco its over an easy win for the Niners. Another questions is will the Niners get their run game going against Haloti Ngata, Terrell Suggs and of course Ray Lewis. The Ravens are a great run defense so if they shut down the run and make Kaepernick throw the Ravens will have a great shot at winning the game. We cant forget " hey diddle diddle Ray Rice up the middle". He is a work horse running back and I think he will have a great day in the receiving game. He will be open in the flat all day long when the receivers are covered and since the Niners play a man to man defense the cornerbacks will not be looking at the ball. I think the 49ers will win with a score of 23-21. I do keep thinking of how bad a season David Akers has had, but I am picking the Niners.

All Star greats and busts.
The All Star team was chosen and there were some obvious picks and there were some bust picks and some c'mon man how did you not pick that guy. We will talk about the Lakers dreadful season some more and the All Stars. Let's make this blog an All Star.
The All Star team was chosen for the West and the East. The West team is ...
Chris Paul
Kobe Bryant
Kevin Durant
Blake Griffin
Dwight Howard
Russel Westbrook
James Harden
David Lee
Tony Parker
Tim Duncan
Zach Randolph
Lamarcus Aldridge
The team is great but I am not sure if Tim Duncan and Tony Parker should be on the list. Tim Duncan is a favorite but he hasn't put up very good numbers this year. Tony Parker is another favorite but he has had to be sat a lot this year and he is a bad outside shooter. I think Stephon Curry should have made it for sure because if you look at the two games that he missed we lost those games by a lot. I also think Marc Gasol should have made it because he is a huge part to that team and I honestly do not know what the Grizzlies would do if they didn't have him.
The East team is...
Rajon Rondo
Dwayne Wade
Lebron James
Carmelo Anthony
Kevin Garnett
Chris Bosh
Tyson Chandler
Luol Deng
Joakim Noah
Paul George
Jrue Holiday
Kyrie Irving
There is no doubt that the starters are great but I don't think Joakim Noah and Tyson Chandler should have made it. They both do not have good offensive games and they aren't the biggest part of their offense. I think David West should have made it because he is a prolific scorer and he is carrying the team with Paul George right now. I also think Deron Williams should have made it. He controls the team and gets other people scores all the time. The All Star teams are good but there should be some changes.
The Lakers are having a horrendous year. Dwight Howard still doesn't get the ball and they have a ton of turnovers. Kobe is trying to do too much and it's costing him with more turnovers. Mike Danton'i hasn't fixed anything. They just look like tired people who don't even want to play anymore. It's embarrassing to watch the Lakers right now. The Lakers will most likely turn it around after the All Star break.
I will be back Monday. Please comment who you think should have made the All Star team and who you think shouldn't have.
